The Dade County Democratic Committee proudly endorses our party’s nominee for Labor Commissioner, Nikki Porcher!

There is an appointed incumbent in the 2026 race for Labor Commissioner, Barbara Rivera Holmes. Ms Holmes (Rep).was appointed by Governor Kemp less than one year ago and has never successfully run for the office.

Primary results from this race were as follows:

Nikki Porcher - 310,782 30.78%

Michi Sanchez - 261,106 25.86%

Brett Hulme - 199,946 19.80%

Christian Wise Smith - 136,472 13.52%

Jason Moon - 101,313 10.03%

In Dade, candidate Brett Hulme received a plurality of 109 votes (28.17%)

In the runoff, the results were:

Nikki Porcher - 232,326 (61.74%)
Michi Sanchez - 144,000 (38.26%)

In Dade, Porcher received a majority of votes with 119 votes (59.8%)
