Socials and Events

Our Events & Media Subcommittee oversees our efforts at growing a Democratic social scene here in Dade County. We want the days of hearing “I thought I was the only one (Democrat) in our rear-view mirror for good!"

Rita Fanning is our officer in charge of these efforts. If developing a social presence, both in-person and online, sounds like something you’d like to take part in, contact Rita and find out how you can take part in this effort!

If you’re strictly an “events” kind of person who enjoys and has a knack for planning and being creative and fun, contact our Events Coordinator, Georgeann Smith, to volunteer!

Linking all of these activities into our existing media structure locally and even across the state, is our Technology Officer JJ Gilliland. JJ is our website and social media manager. Any issues with our website or social media platforms, please reach out to JJ and let him know.
