There will be no incumbent in the 2026 race for Governor. Current Lt. Governor Burt Jones (Rep) is running for Governor. The Republicans also have a runoff, there’s between John F. Kennedy and Greg Dolezal.

Primary results from this race were as follows:

Josh McLaurin - 426,396 41.41%

Nabilah Parkes - 406,730 39.50%

Richard Wright - 196,478 19.08%

In Dade, Josh McLauren received a majority with 207 votes (52.41%)
