The Dade County Democratic Committee congratulates our Public Service Commission District 5 nominee, Shelia Edwards!

There is no incumbent in the 2026 race for Public Service Commission, District 5. There are currently 2 Republicans vying in a runoff to face Shelia this November. There will also be a Libertarian on the November ballot.

Shelia won all 159 counties in Georgia. The results statewide were:

Edwards - 556,691 (55.68%) ✅

Pressley - 259,240 (25.93%)
Cupid - 183,799 (18.38%)

In Dade, Shelia received a plurality of 188 votes (49.21%).
