Public Service Commissioner D-3
The Dade County Democratic Committee will vote to endorse Democratic incumbent Peter Hubbard in the upcoming 2026 primary for Public Service Commission, District 3. District 3 is made up by the Metro counties of Clayton, Dekalb, and Fulton, although the entire state votes on all District Commissioners.
Peter won the seat last November. But because the Public Service Commission map was challenged in court for years, PSC elections were actually put on hold until that challenge was completed.
Peter won a 1-year term in November of 2025, and this year, he will go for a full 6-year term as Commissioner. Peter’s background in energy matters is extensive, he’s been on both the business and regulatory side of aisle, and he heads a non-profit dedicated to making renewable energy affordable and available for the entire state.
Peter Hubbard’s knowledge and background, combined with his impressive political victory in November of 2025, easily make him someone worthy of our Committee’s endorsement, and we’re proud to back Peter up for re-election in 2026.
